Lady's Story: "Lady is an 8 year old small sized mixed breed. She was surrendered because her owner moved. She is energetic and talkative, maybe too talkative to live in an apartment. Lady likes to take walks and will also settle in and cuddle. She is very food motivated and LOVES treats. Lady is a little nervous, so we will not place her in a home with little kids. She did ok meeting quiet dogs, but doesn’t like energetic dogs getting in her face. A meeting with your dog is required before you adopt if you have another dog."
If you are interested in Lady and/or other adoptable animals, it is important to remember that you will have to drive to Buffalo twice, as the shelter is open by appointment only and when you adopt a dog they go for surgery the next business day and are then picked up from the vet.
