BROCKPORT, N.Y. --- The Golden Eagles were once again not able to produce runs when they needed to and weren't able to get over a costly error as the RIT Tigers defeated Brockport 7-2.

In the bottom of the third inning, utility player Chris Reily hit a two-run triple to right field that brought home Ian Libby and Adam Marsh. The next batter, Jarin Moses, singled and drove in Reily. This put the Tigers up 4-0.
In the bottom of the fourth inning, Randy Dodig singled up the middle which brought in Kevin McNulty to extend the lead to 5-0.
In the top of the sixth inning, outfielder Zach Eldred singled and drove in Justin Pangburn. Later in the inning, outfielder Nick Pastore would score on a double play fielder's choice. These would be the only two runs Brockport would score in the game.
In the bottom of the sixth inning, Ian Libby hit a two-run double to right field bringing home Kyle Poorman and Charlie Slaymaker. This made it a 7-2 game, which would be the final score.
With the loss, Brockport drops to 22-12 on the season. They will look to try and get back in the win column when they host Bard College for some senior day doubleheader action on Saturday.
