Hitting woes continue as Brockport Baseball falls to RIT.

By Zach Harnischfeger

BROCKPORT, N.Y. --- The Golden Eagles were once again not able to produce runs when they needed to and weren't able to get over a costly error as the RIT Tigers defeated Brockport 7-2.

In the bottom of the first inning, outfielder Adam Marsh tripled and drove in Randy Dodig to get the Tigers on the board early.

In the bottom of the third inning, utility player Chris Reily hit a two-run triple to right field that brought home Ian Libby and Adam Marsh. The next batter, Jarin Moses, singled and drove in Reily. This put the Tigers up 4-0.

In the bottom of the fourth inning, Randy Dodig singled up the middle which brought in Kevin McNulty to extend the lead to 5-0.

In the top of the sixth inning, outfielder Zach Eldred singled and drove in Justin Pangburn. Later in the inning, outfielder Nick Pastore would score on a double play fielder's choice. These would be the only two runs Brockport would score in the game.
