BROCKPORT, N.Y.--- The Golden Eagles were looking to stay undefeated in the SUNYAC conference on the road against the Oneonta Red Dragons. The bats were kept quiet throughout the series as they were shoutout on Friday and then split the doubleheader on Saturday.
Friday
The game on Friday had dominate pitching from both teams as there was a total of five hits in the game. Adam Douglas got the start for Brockport going seven innings allowing two hits, one run, two walks, and striking out five.

For Oneonta, Sean Liquori got the start. He pitched a complete game, allowing three hits, and striking out five while not allowing a run or walk.
In the bottom of the sixth inning, infielder Jake Barrett doubled to center field and drove in infielder Nick Jacoby. This would be the only run of the game, as Oneonta won 1-0.
Saturday, Game One
In the top of the first inning, outfielder Zach Eldred singled and drove in outfielder Nicholas Pastore to put Brockport up 1-0. Later in the inning second basemen James Houlahan singled and drove in Eldred to make it 2-0. These are the only runs Brockport would score in the game.

In the bottom of the fourth inning, designated hitter Sean Liquori singled and drove in outfielder Anthony Foglia to get the Red Dragons on the board. Later in the inning, outfielder Joe Ottaviano hit a two-run single scoring Liquori and Foglia. This gave the Red Dragons a 3-2 lead, which is how the game would end.
Game Two
In the bottom of the second, Oneonta infielder Nate Guillen drove in Liquori on a groundout. This is the only run Oneonta would score in the game.
In the top of the third inning, infielder Nicholas Maher and outfielder Quinn Mahoney scored on an error by shortstop Nate Guillen. Later in the inning, Zach Eldred drove in Pastore with a single. This made it a 3-1 game. Both teams would not score again giving Brockport the 3-1 victory.
After the Series, Brockport sits at 15-9 overall and 7-2 in the SUNYAC. The Golden Eagles will be back in action on Tuesday when host the RIT Tigers at 3:30pm.
