TWO YEARS LATER: no tears left to cry

Updated: Dec 21, 2023

It was a simpler time when Ariana Grande announced her comeback to music back in April 2018 with a snippet of what would soon become one of her most critically-acclaimed song and music video.

"no tears left to cry" served as the lead single from Grande's fourth studio album, "Sweetener," which would later win her a Grammy for "Best Pop Vocal Album."

Fans were excited to see Ariana return to music with such a light-hearted, upbeat track as many thought she would not return to music after the tragic events that occurred at the Manchester Arena during her Dangerous Woman Tour.

Grande has shown through music and visuals that hate can not win, and that was her goal with this song and album, and the message did not go unnoticed.

Grande continued to serve fantastic pop music with both "Sweetener" and "thank u, next" and became the most acclaimed pop star of both 2018 and 2019.

Grande has teased that she is in her in-home studio making new music during quarantine, and I am sure she will not disappoint.

Relive the magic that is "no tears left to cry"
