The independent rock group Manchester Orchestra has recently released a new song titled “Bed Head;” a song I can only summarize as “okay.”
There’s not really a whole lot I can say about it because it’s just your typical modern/indie rock song; the same type of hard rock instrumentation, slow vocals, lyrics that are strange, yet have some deep meaning about them. Apparently, the song is about two people in different realities talking about their lives and experiences, but if I didn’t research that, I would’ve been confused.
I’m not trying to say I hate the song. It is very catchy to listen to, but it just doesn’t sound that original; to me at least, it just sounds like every other generic rock song that’s released nowadays.
If you are a fan of the group Manchester Orchestra, you might get more out of this song than I did, but I wouldn’t recommend it if you want to listen to something original.
