Ryan Nobles returns home

Brockport, NY – NBC News congressional correspondent Ryan Nobles agreed to an exclusive interview with 89.1 the Point while visiting his alma mater SUNY Brockport this weekend.



Nobles is a SUNY Brockport alum, where he graduated top of his class, held multiple roles at 89.1 the Point, and was the Brockport Student Government president his senior year.

Nobles shared his story of how SUNY Brockport was able to propel him to eight years as a CNN correspondent, and now two years going at NBC.


After transitioning from the 2020 Bernie Sanders campaign to the Trump campaign once the former candidate dropped out, Nobles shared interesting stories from his time on the campaign trail during Covid.


He finished the interview by giving his personal insight of the state of political journalism today, as well as providing advice for young aspiring journalists entering the field of media.
