ROCHESTER, NY - The Rochester Red Wings 5 game winning streak was snapped on Saturday night against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs.

owski groundout. The IronPigs would respond in the third as a bases loaded walk to Dustin Peterson allowed a run in to tie the game. First Basemen John Nogowski responded with 2 more RBIs in bottom half of the third as his 15th double of the season gave the Red Wings a 3-1 lead

Red Wings Starting Pitcher Logan Verrett would shut things down on the mound for Rochester. A quality seven innings pitched with 1 earned run and 6 hits given up. In the top of the 8th it was lefty pitcher Luis Avilan who came in to relieve him. Afterwards right hander Juan Minaya took over but gave the Ironpigs the lead off a solo shot from the bat of catcher Rafael Marchan.
