Getting Ready to Re-Open... Your Mind
Today, May 15 marks the first steps toward reopening regions of New York's economy to try and rebuild communities touched by the COVID-19 Crisis. Fitting enough today's COVID-19 Conversation is with another member of The Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce, we are joined by Adrian Hale, Sr. Manager, Talent Strategy, Workforce Development & Education Initiatives. While his job title is a mouthful his ideas on working to improve the Rochester Region's employment appeal are simple.
Adrian opened up in today's conversation about the importance of reshaping the way business hire and how people train for positions in companies. He also was very candid about how the COVID-19 Crisis has opened our eyes to the future of how businesses will work and to what communities will need to do to reshape themselves for our new future.
As we start to move toward reopening society there are still many unanswered questions, but as more questions are answered be sure to check back in with 89.1 The Point and our COVID-19 Conversations as we try to help answer your questions. As always with our COVID-19 Conversations if you are sitting at home looking for things to do to help the people trying to make the community run as smoothly and as "normal" as normal can be right now, go listen to any other COVID-19 Conversation at 891thepoint.com to give back to our community that gives us so much.
