BROCKPORT, N.Y.- The Golden Eagles came out firing on all cylinders in their 12-2 win over the Oneonta Red Dragons. Andrew Huffman pitched a nine-inning complete game, striking out three batters, allowing two runs, five walks and six hits.
In the bottom of the second inning, designated hitter Ryan Voight got the scoring started for Brockport driving in outfielder Ryan Mansell on a single up the middle.
In the bottom of the third inning, outfielder Zach Eldred singled and drove in catcher David Belsito to make it a 2-0 game. The next batter, first basemen Patrick Bigham brought home outfielder Nick Pastore on a sacrifice fly.

Later in the inning, Ryan Voight recorded his second hit and second RBI of the game after hitting a single up the middle that drove in Zach Eldred. This gave Brockport a 4-0 lead. The next batter, shortstop Justin Pangburn hit a three-run homerun to left field to make it a 7-0 game.

In the top of the fourth inning, Red Dragons outfielder Liam Kaseta drove in third basemen Jake Barrett on a sacrifice fly to give Oneonta their first run of the game.
In the bottom of the fifth inning, Patrick Bigham hit a two-run homerun to left field to make it a 9-1 game. Later in the inning, David Belsito hit a two-run double to left field driving in James Houlahan and Justin Pangburn to extend the lead to 11-1.

In the top of the sixth inning, Oneonta shortstop Nate Guillen drove in first basemen Anthony Foglia on a sacrifice fly to make it an 11-2 game. This would be the last run Oneonta would score in the game.
In the bottom of the eighth inning, Nick Pastore singled and drove in second basemen James Houlahan to make it 12-2 Brockport. This is how the game would end.
The Golden Eagles take on the Cortland Red Dragons on Friday at noon in day two of the SUNYAC Conference tournament.
