BROCKPORT, N.Y. --- The Brockport Golden Eagles defeated the Oneonta Red Dragons by a final score of 6-3 in 7 innings in game two of a doubleheader Saturday afternoon.
The Golden Eagle started game two identical to game one with scoring in the second inning. Oneonta answered Brockport in the third tying up the game. There was no scoring again till the 5th inning where Oneonta took the lead, 3-1. Then Brockport has a monster inning scoring for in the fifth starting with a two-run home run from junior Ryan Mansell.
Brockport was able to close out the game by a stellar three-inning performance by Trevor Mccarthy to take game two.
Brockport rides this momentum to the SUNYAC playoffs next weekend against Cortland on a 4 game win streak.
