"Offensively we put some drives together and it was good to score right there at the end of the half. You know, we're going to build on that. We have a young quarterback, and he is a second-string quarterback. He's only a freshman. So, you know we're going to work on the positives. We got to put drives together and not shoot ourselves in the foot defensively. We have to execute plays. We have to get stronger on the defensive line. You know, we got to be able to hold on," said coach Scott Nugent.

Mason Scott gets it done, not just in the air but on the ground. Scott racked up over 35 yards on the ground as well. Brockport Blue Devil running back Brayden Scaccia had one clutch touchdown catch right before half-time.

The Brockport Blue Devils had multiple moments when the offense had momentum to score. The fire would start, then go out. The Blue Devils just could not stay in rhythm.

"We got to execute better on offense. Our offensive line has to step up and start blocking people. I mean, there were only sending a three-man rush, so that's not good. You know we got five, six guys to block three and we're not blocking them. It has to be addressed. We've struggled with that all year. We have to execute better. Some missed tackles and some areas where we're not good in our coverage. So, we got to fix that in the second level with the linebackers," said coach Scott Nugent.
