Brockport baseball wins game one of doubleheader against Fredonia after 10 run first

BROCKPORT, N.Y.--- The Brockport Golden Eagles defeated the Fredonia Blue Devils by a final score of 16-10 in game one of a doubleheader on Friday afternoon from the Clark V. Whited Complex.


The first inning was all Brockport when they scored 10 runs off of Fredonia starter Sam Cestra. Ryan Mansell had a rbi triple to bring home the first of Brockport's runs. It was more of the same for Brockport scoring in the second, third, sixth, and eighth innings.




But Fredonia made it a game in the ninth after scoring five runs. Brockport ending up holding on for the 16-10 victory over the Blue Devils.


With the win, Brockport improves to 4-2 on the season and 4-1 in SUNYAC play while Fredonia drops to 0-3 and 0-3 in SUNYAC play.
