The Brockport Golden Eagles were able to hold off the Alfred Saxons 16-7. The win was enough to clinch the Empire 8 title and receive a conference bid into the NCAA Division III Tournament for the third consecutive year.
Jala Coad scored the only two touchdowns for Brockport while Dustin Moyle was able to kick an insurance field goal from 24 yards out. On the defense, Alex West lead the team in tackles with nine and getting one sack closer to tying the program record for career sacks with 26, West has 25. We spoke with the senior linebacker on making it to his third consecutive postseason.
