The NCAA Division III Football Selection Show took place on Sunday and it was revealed that the Brockport Golden Eagles will have a "Golden" matchup as they take on the Western New England Golden Bears in the first round.
Western New England comes in 9-1 overall and a perfect 7-0 in the Commonwealth Coast Conference, with their lone loss coming to Stetson, a Division I FCS team.
We spoke with Brockport head coach Jason Mangone and senior running back Justin Morrison on their initial thoughts of Western New England, and what it is like to make the tournament for the third year in a row, despite coming in 8-2.
The game is this Saturday with kickoff set for noon. The winner will advance to the second round to take on the winner of MIT vs Muhlenberg.
